Apple announced their new smartphones in the fall of 2019 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the most expensive edition with a starting price of $1,099. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has similar specifications as the iPhone 11 Pro, except that it has an expansive 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display, a bigger battery, and of course, heavier weight.
The choice between the Pro Max and Pro purely depends on size preference. If you spend a lot of time watching movies or playing games on your iPhone, you will absolutely enjoy the content more on the big 6.5-inch OLED display. In terms of specs, the iPhone 11 Pro Max also features Apple’s A13 Bionic chip with a 3rd-gen neural engine, 3 camera lenses on the back including a new ultra-wide lens (ƒ/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view), IP68 water and dust resistance, an 18-watt charger for faster charging, and a new midnight green color option joining the silver, gold and space gray.
iPhone 12 Pro Max A2342, A2410, A2411, A2412 Differences
Similar to other iPhone 11 editions, the iPhone 11 Pro Max also comes in 3 model numbers, which are A2161, A2218, and A2220. Identifying the model number is important because each is made for a specific country/region and their modem and antenna setups are different. For instance, the phone you buy in the United States might not work properly when you travel overseas. Therefore, you should check the cellular bands carefully before checking out, especially when you get them from an unauthorized Apple store.
Notably, each model number will come with numerous part numbers for different carriers, onboard storage, and color option. We’ve tried to put as many part numbers as we can find on the market.
